Ann C. McLaughlin, MHA, DMA, LNHA

2020 Fellow

Ann McLaughlin holds an MHA degree from the University of Minnesota and a DMA in harp performance and literature from the University of Illinois. Prior to completing her masters, she lived as a harpist-in-residence in a senior living community. During her time in Minnesota, Ann worked as a research assistant for projects sponsored by NIA and the MN Department of Human Services in studying racial disparities in nursing homes and in home and community-based services. Ann’s main interests in healthcare policy are decreasing racial disparities in quality and access to long-term care, improving nursing home regulations, and decreasing urban-rural disparities in long-term care.
