
Dr. Emerson Ea is Clinical Professor and Associate Dean for Clinical and Adjunct Faculty Affairs at New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing. Dr. Ea has spearheaded and collaborated on several projects that explored health and well-being among Filipino immigrant populations in the US. He is co-investigator for the Rutgers-NYU NIH P50 Center for Asian Health Promotion and Equity (CAHPE) focused on addressing health inequities in the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community in the New York-New Jersey area. He also serves as the Chair of Kalusugan Coalition, a community-based organization that aims to enhance the health and well-being of Filipino Americans in the NY/NJ area. Dr. Ea received his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Case Western Reserve University and PhD from Duquesne University.
