With over twelve years (and counting) of dedicated service in the Veterans Affairs healthcare system, Dr. Badloo is an accomplished board-certified clinical pharmacy practitioner specializing in geriatric pharmacotherapy at the Northport VAMC in New York.  In her role she continuously collaborates with interdisciplinary care teams at the medical center to promote veteran-centric medication safety and has led the development and implementation of evidence-based medication management strategies tailored to the unique needs of older Veterans. In addition, serving in her role as the facility Academic Detailer, she has delivered targeted peer-to-peer education to clinicians, promoting best practices in pharmacotherapy and enhancing prescribing quality across interdisciplinary teams.  She also serves as the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Coordinator where she mentors and trains the next generation of clinical pharmacists, fostering a strong foundation in patient-centered care.

As a proud recent GRECC Scholar, Dr. Badloo contributes to innovative research and quality improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing outcomes for aging populations.  Most notably, she has helped improved vaccination rates for the most vulnerable population in the community living center (CLC) at the medical center.  Her work bridges clinical care, education, and systems-level improvements, driven by a commitment to excellence and Veteran centered care.
