Why I Applied to be a Fellow
"Applying for the Health and Aging Policy Fellowship aligned perfectly with my passion for aging services. The opportunity a rapidly aging society presents allowed me the time and flexibility to explore innovative programs and services designed to help older adults age-in-place. During the fellowship, I gained access to experts from around the nation who provided and continue to provide invaluable mentorship. I networked with like-minded Fellows in aging policy which helped me chart my future work. I encourage anyone with an interest in policy and aging and a passion for changing communities to apply. The colleagues and friends I've met along the way have been irreplaceable and follow me through my journey in aging."
