
Brynn Bowman, MPA, is Chief Executive Officer of the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC). She is passionate about improving quality of life for older adults with serious illness through health care that reflects what matters most to patients. Since joining CAPC in 2013, her work has focused on synthesizing and disseminating best practices in palliative care delivery through work with hundreds of health systems, hospitals, community care providers, and health plans nationally. In addition to her work supporting specialty palliative care teams, Ms. Bowman launched and leads ongoing development of CAPC’s online curriculum to educate health professionals from all care settings and specialties in core skills needed to provide person-centered care to patients with serious illness.
Ms. Bowman received her undergraduate degree in biological studies from Harvard College in 2008, and her Master of Public Administration from New York University in 2017. Ms. Bowman sits on the Board of Directors of the National Coalition for Hospice and Palliative Care, and is a member of the National Academy of Medicine Roundtable on Quality Care for People with Serious Illness.
