Dr. Celeste Peay is Medical Director for Bridges to Recovery, and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at USC Keck School of Medicine. Previously, Celeste was a psychiatry resident in the Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital Adult Psychiatry Residency Program. She received her M.D. from Boston University School of Medicine and her J.D. from Boston University Law School. During her legal training, she focused her efforts on health insurance policy and improving access to health care services for elderly adults. During her psychiatry residency, she has focused on advocating for elderly patients with mental health issues through organized medicine, with a special interest in patients with co-occurring kidney disease and psychiatric diagnoses. Dr. Peay intends to pursue a career combining clinical practice alongside health policy work focused on older adults with complex medical conditions and co-occurring psychiatric issues.
