Dr. Melinda Power is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health. Dr. Power's federally-funded research portfolio includes projects designed to inform clinical practice and health policy around prevention of cognitive loss and support for those living with dementia. She is also the Director of the GW Institute for Brain Health and Dementia, which conducts research and outreach to promote brain health, prevent cognitive loss, address health disparities, and improve the quality of life of persons living with dementia and their care partners.
