Laura Cepoi, M.A., is Executive Director of the Olympic Area Agency on Aging in Washington with the major responsibility of managing social and health services for older adults and persons with disabilities since 2020. She currently serves on the Washington Long-Term Services and Supports Trust Commission by Governor appointment. She has over 15 years’ experience of directing aging and disability programs in multiple counties in the San Francisco Bay Area. Current efforts are on addressing rural equity through community partnerships and program innovation focusing on diversifying affordable housing options, mitigating natural disaster/climate change risks, and addressing social isolation of tribal elders on the Olympic Peninsula. She has over 10 years of combined experience of developing low-income housing options on a non-profit board and as a commissioner for the City of Napa - responding to community needs in the wake of natural disasters, shoring up homeless shelters/resources, and ensuring that essential community services are funded to support dignity and independence.
