Ilana Stol, MD is a practicing Geriatrician and Palliative Care physician at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center and is a dual appointed Affiliate Assistant Professor of both Medicine and Psychiatry at the The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). She is the medical director of the Charleston VA Hospice and Palliative Care program as well as the founder and medical director of the Charleston VA Geriatric Interdisciplinary Veteran Evaluation (GIVE) Clinic. She plays an active role in clinical education for medical trainees in multiple levels, professions, and specialties. Her clinical interests include end of life clinician-patient communication, interdisciplinary collaboration in palliative and geriatric patient care, fall prevention in older adults, and veteran specific health factors shaping cognition and aging.
