
Laura Mosqueda, MD is a Professor of Family Medicine and Geriatrics at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. With a specific interest in serving those with a dementing illness, she sees patients in the ambulatory setting and on house calls. Her research focus is on understanding, detecting, and preventing elder mistreatment and she is the Director of the National Center on Elder Abuse as well as a volunteer long term care ombudsman. She particularly values a holistic approach that encompasses person-centered care, interprofessional work, and careful listening.
