Jaime Hughes, PhD, MPH, MSW is an Associate Professor at Wake Forest University School of Medicine where she holds academic appointments in the Department of Implementation Science and Section of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine. As a behavioral medicine researcher and implementation scientist, her work focuses on the design and dissemination of effective yet scalable health promotion programs to promote functional independence among complex older adults receiving care across primary care, specialty services, and community-based settings. A longtime VA researcher, she has enjoyed working with Veterans for 15+ years. Dr. Hughes received her PhD from UNC at Chapel Hill, MPH/MSW from University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, and BA from New York University.
