
Mint Kueakomoldej received her PhD from Columbia University School of Nursing and is a former Margaret E. Mahoney health policy fellow with the New York Academy of Medicine. Mint has previous clinical experiences in critical care, primary care, and community health nursing. As a researcher, Mint is interested in ways to strengthen the healthcare workforces caring for populations from communities and settings that are underserved. In addition to serving as a Health and Aging Policy Fellow, Mint is a Disability & Policy postdoctoral fellow with the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research. Under the Disability & Policy fellowship, Mint has examined how self-direction policies can improve outcomes for caregivers of older adults and people with disabilities.
