Dr. Suyoung Kwon is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at George Mason University. Previously, Suyoung was an Aging and Disability Policy Research Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington. She earned her PhD in Nursing Science from the University of Washington, with a research focus on musculoskeletal disorders among workers in both the manufacturing and healthcare industries. She has worked as an occupational health nurse, holding certifications in ergonomics and industrial hygiene, at US companies in Korea. Currently, her research endeavors encompass the exploration of employment status, occupational trajectories, and workplace accommodations among individuals with disabilities, while considering factors such as gender, age, and race/ethnicity.
