Peter Curran, MD, is Medical Director of Home Based Primary Care at the Veterans Health Administration in the Department of Geriatrics, Washington D.C., and Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at George Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Curran received his specialty medical training and certification in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston and Cardiovascular Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles. He served as a Major in the United States Air Force and Clinical Director at Andrews Air Force Base. He was elected President of the San Francisco Medical Society, advocating on behalf of patients and physicians at the county and state level. Current interests include improving access to healthcare for older veterans in a rural community under the Choice Act.
